Our self-paced online courses include a Powerpoint (in pdf format) that guides you through the program, access to the unlisted video segments on YouTube, and a more detailed handout (in pdf format). All details are sent to you in an email from Dr. VanFleet after you register.

In some cases, there are 1 or 2 additional text materials required, and these are noted in the descriptions when relevant.

Filial (parent-child) Therapy is a highly effective intervention integrating family therapy and play therapy to address child and family problems. In this 6 hour video-based course, Dr. VanFleet provides an overview of the entire process of Filial Therapy. The course shows how to train and supervise parents as they conduct special child-centered play session with their own children, and how to incorporate family issues in a mutual problem-solving process that benefits children and parents alike. Filial Therapy has been used successfully with a wide range of child and family problems. The course includes video footage of parents and children throughout the process (with their permission).
Optional Add-On: If you wish to learn more details about FT, you may read the following book in conjunction with this course. This can add 4 additional CE credits for a total of 10 hours, if you so choose.
